Resumo
Resumo: Os esforços direcionados à promoção da acessibilidade no processo de comunicação dos membros da comunidade surda podem representar um diferencial no incentivo à inclusão social. A interação tecnológica pode conduzir à construção de conhecimento e ao desenvolvimento humano. Atualmente, diversas iniciativas buscam o desenvolvimento de instrumentos computacionais para a tradução de mensagens em língua portuguesa, sob a forma verbal ou textual, para a Língua Brasileira de Sinais. Nesse contexto, este trabalho apresenta a arquitetura tecnológica do projeto Rybená, seu estado atual de desenvolvimento, assim como as indicações de melhorias que visam o apoio à comunicação entre o professor e os alunos surdo em uma sala de aula.
Abstract: The efforts head to the accessibility promotion in the communication process among the members of the deaf community can represent a differential in the social inclusion incentive. The technology interaction can drive to the knowledge construction and human development. Nowadays, several initiatives look for computational tools development to the translation of Portuguese verb and text messages into Brazilian Signal Language. This paper aims to show the technology architecture of Rybená project, its actual scenario, limitations and future prospection, as well as the indication of improvement that aims to support the communication among the teacher and the deaf students in a classroom.
