Aprendizagem baseada em problemas mal-estruturados: Programação e Cidadania

Resumo: Problemas mal-estruturados são uma constante no cotidiano. O ideal seria transformar problemas em oportunidades de aprendizagem, o que nem sempre ocorre. Alunos de graduação na área de Informática tendem a considerar um problema o aprendizado de programação e, simultaneamente, enfadonho o estudo de disciplinas ligadas à área de Humanas. Porém, para uma formação acadêmica adequada, o ideal é unir essas duas vertentes. Esse artigo apresenta uma proposta de interdisciplinaridade que gerou um experimento cujos resultados foram o desenvolvimento de jogos educativos, ontologias, debate e resolução de alguns problemas mal – estruturados a partir da discussão sobre desigualdade social no Brasil.
Abstract: Ill-structured problems are a constant in everyday life. The ideal would be to turn problems into opportunities for learning, which does not always occur. Undergraduate students in computer science tend to consider the learning of a computer programming language as a problem and simultaneously boring the study of subjects related to the humanities. However, for an appropriate education, the ideal is to unite the two. This paper presents a proposal for an interdisciplinary experiment in which the generated results were the development of educational games, ontologies, debate and solving of some ill-structured problems based on discussion of social inequality in Brazil.
