Formação em-serviço para EAD
Resumo
Resumo: A aprendizagem por meio de ambientes virtuais ou pelo computador como mediador do processo é uma realidade em muitas instituições educacionais que procuram prover o aluno com as ferramentas de que ele precisa para um desempenho profissional condizente com as demandas da sociedade contemporânea. Introduzir cursos a distância requer profissionais preparados. Entendemos que o desenvolvimento das competências e habilidades necessárias para o ensino a distância não ocorre meramente pela ampliação de habilidades técnicas; ocorre, sim, por intermédio da reflexão acerca do processo de ensino-aprendizagem, da concepção de tecnologia como ferramenta, da análise do novo ambiente de aprendizagem e das necessidades da aprendizagem a distância que ajudam a formar o profissional adequado. Conseqüentemente, o grupo de pesquisa em Tecnologia Educacional e Educação a Distância da Faculdade de Comunicação e Filosofia criou e vem implementando um programa de qualificaçao atrelado a uma pesquisa que adota o estudo de caso como aporte metodológico. Neste artigo pretendemos: a) apresentar o programa de qualificação docente e b) relatar os resultados da análise da primeira fase do programa.
Abstract: Learning in a virtual environment or computed-mediated learning isa reality in many educational institutions that try to provide the student with thetools he will need in his professional career, according to the demands ofcontemporary society. We understand that the development of skills andabilities to teach online does not occur only by improvement of technical skills.It is reflecting upon the teaching and learning processes, viewing technologyconcept as tool, considering new learning environment analysis and distancelearning needs that help forming the adequate professional. Because of that, theresearch group on Educational Tecnology and Distance Education, from theCommunication and Philosophy Faculty, has created and implemented ateachers’ qualification program supported by a research that has adopted thecase study as its methodological framework. In this article, we intend to a)present the teachers’ qualification program and b) report the first analysisresults based on the first phase of the program.
