Tecnologias Digitais e Cidadania: visões e políticas públicas relacionadas à inclusão digital em João Pessoa

This paper presents partial results of a project that combines research and extension in the reflections on Digital Inclusion (DI) and in proposing policies and actions on the theme. The work is performed through the analysis of the relations between the conceptual reflections on citizen DI and the praxis of the actions promoted through extension programs and projects, in a case study in XXX. The results suggest that contemporary societies conform as networks supported by ICDT, but despite the inclusive discourses of DI, some actions develop the technique without connection with citizenship. Effective DI requires access to ICDT and citizen qualification, horizontal relations, and the prominence of communities in the cycles of public policies.
