Formação Tecnológica de Professores do Município de Rio Tinto: Um Relato de Experiência

Resumo: Tem-se percebido que a Informática tem rodeado a vida de nossos jovens. Fazê-los afastar-se dela na sala de aula não faz sentido. Porém, a realidade em escolas de alguns municípios de nosso país é a existência de laboratórios de informática que ficam fechados na maioria do tempo. No município de Rio Tinto, um dos fatores que levava a essa situação era a falta de experiência dos professores com o computador, algo que o projeto em que se insere este trabalho tentou mudar. Neste artigo é descrita a experiência de alunos de Licenciatura em Computação e Sistemas de Informação na formação tecnológica de professores do município de Rio Tinto no uso de computadores em suas aulas, incluindo os principais desafios encontrados e lições aprendidas.
Abstract: Informatics is everywhere in the life of the youth. It does not make sense to isolate computers from the students in the classroom. However, the reality in some cities from our country is the existence of school computer labs that remain closed for most of the time. In the city of Rio Tinto, one of the factors that led to this situation was the lack of experience of the teachers with computers, something that our project tried to change. This article describes the experience of undergraduate students from Computer Science and Information Systems courses in training teachers from a school in the Rio Tinto city on the use of computers in their classes. We present the main challenges faced and the lessons learned.
