O Uso Software Elica no Ensino de Geometria Espacial: relato de experiência

Resumo: Este trabalho discute o ensino de Matemática na era digital e para isso retrata a relação entre as TICs e o campo da Informática Educativa. Como forma de apontar alguns elementos que considera fundamentais na mediação do ensino de Matemática, esta pesquisa traz um relato de experiência de aplicação do software Elica-Origami Nets realizada com 36 alunos de uma instituição federal, em 2009. Enfatizamos que se as tecnologias tradicionais são essenciais ao ensino de Matemática, mas cabe ao professor na era digital reconhecer que o computador munido de bons softwares e ligado à Internet é um recurso didático bastante promissor.
Abstract: This paper discusses the teaching of mathematics in the digital age and it portrays the relationship between ICTs and the field of Computers in Education. In order to point out some elements it considers essential in mediating the teaching of mathematics, this study gives an account of experience with software-Elica Origami Nets held with 36 students in a federal institution in 2009. We emphasize that traditional technologies are essential to the teaching of mathematics, but it is the teacher in the digital age to recognize that the computer equipped with good software and connected to the Internet is a promising teaching tool.
