Zorelha: um objeto de aprendizagem para auxiliar o desenvolvimento musical infantil

Resumo: Existe uma relação direta entre a qualidade do ambiente musical vivenciado na infância e a capacidade de um indivíduo adulto de entender os elementos da música. Este artigo relata a construção de um objeto de aprendizagem cujo principal objetivo é propiciar, às crianças, a construção do conhecimento musical através da exploração sonora. Realizou-se experimentos com 34 crianças com idade entre 4 e 9 anos onde pôde-se observar a contribuição positiva do computador como ferramenta no processo de construção do conhecimento musical.
Abstract: A direct relationship exists between the quality of musical environment experienced in childhood and the capacity for an adult to understand the music elements. This article describes the construction of an learning object that has as main goal provide, to children, the construction of musical knowledge by exploiting sounds. Experiments were conducted with 34 children aged between 4 and 9 years where the positive contribution of the computer as a tool in the construction of musical knowledge was observed.
