Resumo

The use of Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) in Distance Education has generated a growing volume of data from interactions among the actors in this process. The distance tutor is the actor responsible for mediating the students’ learning process and for promoting interaction in the VLEs. However, distance tutors do not always perform their activities properly. Given this context, this work aims to present a proactive system for monitoring and evaluation of distance learning activities in VLEs, based on Learning Analytics processes.
