Democratização digital, uso do computador às crianças do Projeto PETI de Cassilândia - MS

Resumo: Este arquivo defende a idéia de reintegrar os membros das comunidades carentes, principalmente crianças e jovens, diminuindo os níveis de exclusão social a que são submetidos. A preocupação implícita no decorrer deste projeto foi a de que a informática deve ser posta a serviço da educação, abrangendo todas as classes sociais. Reintegrando as crianças da zona rural, pode-se almejar diminuir os níveis de exclusão social por meio da democratização do uso do computador e da Internet, uma vez que isto é uma necessidade premente para combater o atual “apartheid” digital.

Abstract: This archive defends the idea to reintegrate de members of needy communities, manily children and the young, diminishing the levels of social exclusion they are submitted to. The implicit concern during this project was that computer science must be dispatched to the service of education, enclosing all social classes. Reintegrating the children of the agricultural zone, we can hope to diminish the social exclusion through democratization by the use of the computer and the Internet, because it is a real necessity to combat present digital “apartheid”.
