Oficinas de Utilização de Software Educacional: Um Relato de Experiência
Resumo
Resumo: Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um projeto de extensão que promoveu a realização de oficinas de utilização de informática com alunos do ensino fundamental. O projeto caracterizou-se por ser uma iniciativa interdisciplinar envolvendo docentes-pesquisadores do curso de Ciência da Computação e professores atuantes em escolas de ensino fundamental dos municípios de Itajaí e Balneário Camboriú (SC). Foram realizadas ao todo dezesseis oficinas com alunos de 3a e 4a séries, as quais proporcionaram a experimentação dos softwares educacionais desenvolvidos na universidade. Os resultados apontam a importância da extensão universitária como um mecanismo de socialização do conhecimento e de retro-alimentação para as atividades de pesquisa e também a necessidade das escolas da região em contar com apoio para inserir adequadamente o computador nos processos educativos.
Abstract: This paper presents the results of an extension program that promoted a workshop for using educational software with fundamental school students. The project was organized in an interdisciplinary way including researchers of Computer Science and teachers of Itajaí and Balneário Camboriú fundamental schools. Seventeen workshops were realized with third and forth grade students that allowed the experimentation of the educational software developed at university. The results indicate the importance of university extension programs for socializing knowledge and giving feedback for research activities and also for aiding teachers of fundamental schools to include the computer as an instrument to support learning.
