A Participação do Instituto Telemar na Formação de Comunidades Digitais de Aprendizagem

Resumo: Este trabalho descreve o portal Comunidade Digital Telemar, desenvolvido pelo Instituto Telemar em parceria com alguns governos estaduais e municipais do Brasil, a empresa Eduweb e o Grupo de Pesquisa KBr/ Kidlink. O objetivo principal desta iniciativa, que está em fase inicial, é oferecer acesso gratuito à Internet banda larga a mais de 1.600 escolas públicas conveniadas, favorecendo, assim, a mais de dois milhões de estudantes, além de capacitar os professores através da Comunidade Digital Telemar. Neste portal são oferecidos diversos serviços para auxiliar na comunicação entre os professores de todo o país, com o intuito de enriquecer o processo de ensino-aprendizagem.

Abstract: This present paper describes the Comunidade Digital Telemar portal, developed by Telemar Institution in partnership with some state and municipal governments of Brazil, the Eduweb Company and the KBr/Kidlink Researcher Group. The main objective of this initiative, which is in the beginning, is to offer a free Internet access in high speed to more than 1,600 public schools favoring, in this way, approximately two million students. Also the project was designed to incentive the interaction and training for teachers’ capacity building. In this portal many services are offered in order to help the communication among teachers around the country, with the intention of improving the teaching-learning process.
