Abstract: The cooperation have been little encouraged in the initial formation of the teachers. In this action-research the objective was to emphasize if a writing process supported by an online collective text editor could promote the cooperation. After one activity that demanded the regulation of knowledge was proposed, the future educators could experience a situation guided not only by the mediation, but also by the group construction and by the reflexive thinking. However, the majority of the groups tended to collaborate; few could reach the cooperation level. This tendency can be interpreted as reflex of a culture rooted in education. But the result achieved in some groups suggests that writing can create conditions for the cooperative culture to start installing itself.
