Resumo: Este artigo apresenta a experiência de execução do projeto de extensão Informática para Professores Indígenas: Elaboração de Publicações, na Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso – UNEMAT. O projeto visa a habilitação de professores indígenas de Mato Grosso para a sistematização de materiais produzidos no âmbito das atividades desenvolvidas na escola e junto à comunidade e a elaboração de publicações de caráter didático/pedagógico que objetivem a valorização e divulgação cultural. Entre as atividades do projeto está a oferta de um curso para professores indígenas em formação ou que estejam atuando na educação escolar indígena. O curso discute técnicas de sistematização de materiais, digitalização de textos e de imagens, tratamento de imagens, diagramação e montagem de projetos gráficos de obras a serem encaminhadas a instituições que subsidiam publicações.
Abstract: This paper presents the extension project experience Informatics for Indigenous Teachers: Preparation of Publications at the University of Mato Grosso State – UNEMAT. The project aims to enable indigenous teachers from Mato Grosso to the materials systematization produced in the activities developed at school and in the community and the development of didactic publications that aim the promotion and dissemination of culture. Among the activities of the project there is a computer course for indigenous teachers in training or who are working with indigenous education. The course discusses techniques of materials systematization, digitization of texts and images, image treatment, layout and assemblage of graphic design works to be submitted to institutions that subsidize publications.
