Resumo: O Programa Institucional de Ações Relativas às Pessoas com Necessidades Especiais (PEE) tem prestado aos acadêmicos cegos e com visão reduzida uma série de serviços, entre eles a adaptação de livros, textos em formato impresso e digitação de materiais. Dessa forma o PEE tem constituído um acervo eletrônico de referências em diversas áreas do conhecimento, constituído por aproximadamente 8 mil obras, que precisam ser cadastradas. Esta atividade traz a necessidade de constituir uma metodologia de cadastro, objetivando assegurar o armazenamento deste acervo de modo que possibilite localizar um documento (livros, textos, vídeos, comentários) de maneira eficaz, permitindo também, a consulta aos usuários com autonomia. Neste trabalho apresentamos o estágio de desenvolvimento de um software web com características especiais de usabilidade para o cadastro e gerenciamento do acervo de obras do PEE, de modo a facilitar o acesso por meio de um sintetizador de voz e de uma interface apropriada.
Abstract: The Institutional Program of Actions Relating to Persons with Disabilities (PEE) has provided scholars with blind and visually impaired with a range of services, including the adaptation of books, texts in print and digitizing materials. Thus, the PEE has constituted a collection of electronic references in several areas of knowledge, consisting of approximately 8 thousand works that need to be registered. In order to do this activity it is necessary to define a methodology, aiming to ensure the storage of this collection so that it allows to find a document (books, texts, videos, comments) effectively, also allowing the users to consult it with autonomy. This paper presents the development stage of a web software with special features of usability for registering and managing the collection of works of the PEE, to facilitate access through a voice synthesizer and an appropriate interface.
