Resumo

Resumo: In this work, it is described some of the results of an ongoing research focused on developing communicative practice in foreign languages, using networked virtual environments, which can be explored cooperatively over the Internet. A courseware, the Tour Guide Virtual Course, was specially designed to use virtual reality environments that represent the environments typically found in the daily life of an international tour guide. Preliminary tests of this courseware are also presented.
