Abstract: This paper describes the results obtained from an exploratory study on the interest of High School biology teachers on BDC (Digital Library on Sciences), from the UNICAMP’s Institute of Biology. The BDC delivers scientific papers and learning objects related to the science teaching and learning at the secondary and higher education. The results obtained showed that the teachers search BDC mainly to get teaching aids resources more than scientific data to self-study. The teachers showed more interests in dynamic contents such as animations. In spite of many users declared not having informatics skills, they show themselves very interested and critics on the use of multimedia contents in their classes.
