Investigando a Contribuição do Software Educativo Winplot para a Compreensão do Conceito de Função
Resumo
Resumo: O presente estudo investigou a contribuição do software educativo Winplot na compreensão do conceito de função. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola pública de Fortaleza com 13 alunos do 1° ano do Ensino Médio. Os dados constaram de entrevistas e observações conduzidas durante a resolução de problemas mediados pelo ambiente computacional Winplot. Foram identificados teoremas-em-ação relativos à distância da reta ao eixo vertical y, à função y=x+b e aos gráficos da função f(x) = ax+b com o coeficiente b fixo. Concluiu-se que o software favoreceu a compreensão desses conceitos pelos alunos.
Abstract: This study investigated the contribution of educational software Winplot in the development of the function concept.Research was conducted in a public school of Fortaleza with 13 high school students from junioryear. Data consisted of interviews and observations conducted during problem solving sections mediated by the Winplot software.The following theorems-in-action were identified:distance from the vertical axis y, the function y = x + band graphs of the function f (x) = ax + b with thebcoefficient fixed. In conclusion, the software facilitated the understanding of these concepts by students.
