Resumo


Integrating heterogeneous systems requires mapping the data in a format that can be understood by the systems involved in communication. The use of ontology can be a flexible solution and it allows the semantic mapping of the data. Thus, this work aims to present the development and evaluation of an ontology called LESD-Onto. The ontology was built on the basis of Ontology Development 101 methodology and aspects of consistency, completeness and conciseness. For the evaluation, the ontology was used in the integration of the learning systems, whose results give indications of its viability in the integration of learning systems.
