Análise de uma aplicação gamificada para o aprendizado de Matemática Discreta

Resumo


In this paper, we present a study to verify if the Kahoot can stimulate the practice of exercises and consequently the learning in discrete mathematics. For this, a controlled experiment was carried out with two sample groups (a gamified and one non-gamified scenario) in order to measure/distinguish performance in relation to the number of issues solved, as well as the number of correct answers between groups. As results, there was no difference between the groups in relation to the number of issues solved, however, there was a significant statistical difference between the groups in the quantity of correct answers. Which gives us strong indications that the Kahoot can encourage specific behaviors due to competition during problem solving process and consequently in learning.
