Uso de Computadores na Aprendizagem de Alunos com Deficiência Mental

Resumo

Resumo: O presente artigo analisa o uso do computador no processo de aprendizagem de alunos com deficiência mental. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola especializada em Fortaleza, com alunos de 7 a 16 anos. Para a organização do trabalho, optou-se por elaborar atividades que envolvessem as habilidades cognitivas de seriação, conservação de quantidades e inclusão de classes, com o uso dos softwares Balança Serial, Micromundos e Tabletop, respectivamente. Nos resultados, verificou-se que o computador potencializou benefícios na aprendizagem e no desenvolvimento cognitivo no que tange à compreensão dessas habilidades.

Abstract: The present article analyzes the use of the computer in the process of learning of pupils with deficiency mental. The research was carried through in a specialized school in Fortaleza, with pupils 7 to 16 years. The work organization, it was opted to respectively elaborating activities that involved the abilities cognitive of classification, conservation, amounts and inclusion of class, with software’s use the Balança Serial, Micromundos and Tabletop. In results, it was the computer verified that generated benefits in the learning and cognitive development in what refers to the understanding these abilities.
