Abstract: Assessment systems employed within distance learning management tools used to have assessment strategies with closed questions of test type, and discursive questions with hand correction. On the distance learning environment developed at ITA-The Aeronautical Institute of Technology, the possibility of including new ways of automated assessment to be applied to exact sciences has been analyzed, not limited to closed questions and preserving real time feedback to the student. This paper presents a proposal of Assessment Systems applied exact sciences that can be integrated to distance learning management tools, with the following goals: a) closed questions (tests) b) written questions that can be resolved through an environment that allows the manipulation of mathematical symbols.
