Resumo

The growing demand for high-quality educational products, capable of better engaging learners and instructors in an active learning process, has pointed out the need for more efficient and productive learning development mechanisms. The IMA􀀀CID approach address such concerns, defining an integrated approach for modeling educational content. By means of a set of models, IMA􀀀CID helps the content developers to determine the relevant parts of the knowledge domain, providing a systematic way to structure the concepts and related information. In this paper we summarize the key characteristics of IMA􀀀CID, and define guidelines for its application, illustrating them in the reengineering of an educational content in the Computer Networks domain.
